Ja'Mar Harris

I am the Owner and Founder of Texas TRU Athletics LLC, driven by my deep-seated passion for nurturing our youth and fostering a stronger community. Raised in Fort Worth, Texas, I come from a single-parent household, where community centers and neighborhood mentors played a pivotal role in keeping me focused and out of trouble. My journey led me to marry my high school sweetheart, Lorna, and together, we've shared over two decades of marriage and are proud parents to four wonderful children - three boys and a girl.

Throughout my life, basketball has been a central focus, from my high school and college years to being invited to try out for the NBA Developmental League. However, beyond the court, my true passion lies in empowering young athletes. I firmly believe in the untapped potential of every student-athlete and aspire to elevate the standard of athletics in North Texas and neighboring communities.
